Eugene Patrick Brady (Pat to friends and family), was born November 28, 1925 in Wabash, Indiana. Pat lost his battle with lung cancer on Sunday, August 1, 2004. Pat retired from the U.S. Air Force on October 1, 1964. He then followed his life-long inter est in aviation, working for Piper Aircraft as a prototype technician for many years, then work ing for Rockwell International on the shuttle Columbia. He retired from Grumman Aircraft in 1992, where he had worked on the J-STARS Program. After his retirement, he refurbished his airplane (The Baby Ace), which he had built while stationed at Stead Air Force Base in Nevada. Health condi tions did not allow him the opportunity to fly his airplane aft it was refurbished, but his love of working on it compensated somewhat for that loss. Pat was a Mason and a member of Reno Lodge No. 13, F&AM, Reno, Nevada. He was also a long time member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He loved traveling and he and his wife, Iris, traveled around the country, as well as abroad, after their retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Florence (McKinley) Brady and two broth ers, Evan and Joseph. Pat is survived by his wife of 36 years, Iris (Damron) Brady; step-daughter, Carletta Migliorino and husband, Terry; step-son, Chase Brady; grand daughter, Brenda Rogers and husband, Cris; and brother, Bob Allen Brady. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 3rd, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 4th, at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with military honors to be provided by the U.S. Air Force. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Health First, Inc., 1900 Dairy Road, West Melbourne FL 32904.
