SCHERMER TITUSVILLE -- Floyd Schermer, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born in Chicago, Ill and served in the United States Marine Corps. He moved to Florida in 1966 to work at the Space Center on the Apollo Program. He also owned and operated several businesses in his lifetime. Mr. Schermer is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cindy Schermer; his daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Douglas Elrod; and his grandchildren, Kenny and Sarah Schermer, all of Titusville. The family will be joining together to honor Mr. Schermer in accordance with his wishes. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Donations in memory of Mr. Schermer may be made to the American Cancer Society of Hospice of St. Francis. |
