BARRETT TITUSVILLE -- Gawain B. Barrett, 58, an aerospace computer
electrical designer, died Sunday, July 9, at home.
Mr. Barrett was born in Leake County, Miss. He came to Brevard County in 1967 from Camp Lejeune, N.C. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Barrett worked for The Boeing Co. at Kennedy Space Center, McDonnell Douglas and PRC for a total of 30 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed gardening and history. Survivors include his wife, Gayle Barrett of Titusville; sons, Christopher Barrett of Atlanta and Daniel Barrett of Orlando; brother, Jack Barrett of Walnut Grove, Miss.; and sister, Willie Dully of Pensacola. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with services following, at Wylie-Baxley Titusville Funeral Home. The family requests no flowers.
