BARDEN TITUSVILLE Gerry Barden, 62, of Titusville, died Friday, November 12, 2004. Gerry was born in Glendale, Calif. and lived in Titusville for over 30 years. He worked as an aerospace engineer with the space program for 38 years. He was a classic car enthusiast and he enjoyed golf, fishing, camping and kayaking. Survivors include his wife, Pat, of Titusville; daughter, Jamie of Winston-Salem, N.C.; sons, Gerad of Gainesville, Fla., Jeff and Jim of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Tom of Aurora, Colo; grandchildren, Tyler, Katie and Jessica; parents, Gerry and Dorothy Barden of Carson City, Nevada; sister, Anne Marie Kemp and brothers, Jim and Ron Barden. Services are Tuesday at 4 p.m. at North Brevard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gerrys name may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Central Florida Council, 1215 E. Nebraska Ave., Orlando, FL 32802, or to the Christopher Reeve Foundation. North Brevard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. NOTE: Gerry was one of my close friends at McDonnell-Douglas.
