MELBOURNE -- Glen H. Crabtree, 74, a retired security policeman for Pan Am
World Services, died Saturday, March 25, at home.
Mr. Crabtree was born in Wayne County, W.Va. He came to Brevard County in 1960 from Huntington, W.Va. He was a member of Bowe Gardens Baptist Church in Melbourne. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports and shrimp trapping. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ruth Crabtree of Melbourne; sons, Glen Crabtree Jr. of Suntree and Randy Crabtree of Seminole; daughter, Karen Fitzgerald of Melbourne; brothers, Pete Crabtree of Huntington and Ray Ball of Nitro, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, with services following, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, north of Melbourne. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. |
