BRANHAM MIMS Hargis R. Branham, 77, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Florida Hospital South in Orlando, Fla. Mr. Branham was born December 24, 1926 in McRoberts, Ky. He was a Winter Haven resident from 1951 until 1958. He lived in Mims for the last 13 years, moving from Eau Gallie. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and member of Northland-A Church Distributed in Longwood, Fla. Mr. Branham worked for McDonnell-Douglas as a technician for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Burnette Crowell Branham of Mims; daughters, Sharla Jeanne (James) Jackson of Port St. John, Connie Gale (Angel Ariezaga) Branham of Orlando, and Cynthia Lee Branham of Titusville brothers, Ernest (Kathryn) Branham of Tampa, and Rodney (Linda) Branham of Nocatee, Fla.; a sister, Bernice (Monroe) Collier of Mims; 11 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Almer Lee Branham. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, October 11th, at Oak Ridge Funeral Home in Winter Haven, with services following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, Fla.
