GODDARD COCOA Ivadell E. Van Dongen Goddard, 92, went to her heavenly home Palm Sunday, April 4, 2004. Ivy has been a resident of Brevard County since 1953 and was formerly of Philadelphia, Pa. She was a retired secretary from Boeing and a member of First United Methodist Church of Cocoa. Ivy had a great love for music and was an accomplished pianist and organist. She is survived by her son, David Van Dongen and his wife, Jan, grandsons, Ryan and Sean of Rockledge; her daughter, Carol Schoenmann and her husband, Don of Cocoa, and granddaughters, Charlene Johnson and Denise Bolos; daughter, Barbara Calhoun and her husband, John of Daytona Beach; daughter, Eileen Gonzales; and four great-grand children. She is also survived by her brother, Charles F. Bartberger, and wife, Kay of Cocoa. Ivy was preceded in death by her two husbands, Elmer J. Van Dongen and Edwin J. Goddard. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 9th, at First United Methodist Church of Cocoa, 825 Forrest Ave. Donations may be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church of Cocoa for their music ministry.
