CLEVENGER MELBOURNE James Paul Clevenger, 77, left to go fly with the angels on Monday, March 1, 2004, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla. Jim was born August 15, 1926 in Winchester, Indiana. He came to Brevard County in 1957 from Glen Burnie, Md. He worked for National Airlines upon arriving as a commercial pilot. He worked for many years at RCA as a track ing technician in the early years of Cape Canaveral Space Center. He developed his love for flying while in the Army Air Force during World War II. Jim is survived by his loving family, his wife of 20 years, Yvonne; his three children, daughters, Peggy Clevenger of Sarasota and Laura Bowman of Palm Bay; and his son, Jim Clevenger, II of Palm Bay. Jim was blessed with an extended family of three daughters and two sons. He will be missed by 14 grand children; and nine great- grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the A.O.P.A. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6th, at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Melbourne.
