JENTERIOUS ANDERSON MESA, Ariz. - Jenterious "Andy" Anderson, 61, a retired Army master sergeant, died Thursday, Aug. 24 in Mesa.

Mr. Anderson was born in Pitts, Ga. He came to Brevard County in 1982.

He retired from the Army in 1982 after 24 years of service.

Mr. Anderson was employed by the Boeing Co. as a procurement aircraft and missile system management specialist for the past 13 years.

He was a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church in Cocoa, and North Center Street Missionary Baptist Church in Mesa.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Anderson of Mesa; sons, Jenterious Anderson Jr. of Mesa, Barry Anderson of Charlotte, N.C., and Dwayne Anderson of Douglasville, Ga.; daughters, Janice Johnson of Mesa, and Jacqueline Luckey of Cocoa; mother, Alean Smith of Pitts; brothers, John Cook of Hawaii and Charles Cook of Pitts; sisters, Katie Melvin of Pitts, Jeanola Williams of Decatur, Ga., and Sarah Toms of Atlanta; and nine grandchildren.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 tonight at Stone Funeral Home in Cocoa. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Orthodox Primitive Baptist Church in Cocoa. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens, north of Melbourne.
