DAVIDSON MERRITT ISLAND John Coolidge Davidson, 77, a Management Consultant, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2004, at Courtenay Springs Village. Mr. Davidson was born in Union City, New Jersey. He came to Brevard in 1963 from Huntsville, Ala. He worked for NASA and for the Department of the Army as a Civilian Management Consultant. He was a Veteran and a seaman. Mr. Davidson is survived by his siblings, Ruth Lansing of Venice, Fla., Fran Weber of Orangeburg, S.C., and Fred Davidson of South Pines, N.C.; children, Jodi Mason of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Jeanne LaCost of Sarasota, Fla. and John Davidson, Jr of Merritt Island, Fla.; and grandchildren, Kelly and Dustin LaCost. As a Veteran, John served in both World War II and Vietnam. As a private citizen he was the the type of person we strive to be and the type of friend you hope to have, with a zest for life and a love of the sea. As per his wishes, there will be no public ceremony. |
