Sr. MERRITT ISLAND John Wise, Sr., 76, a retired ordinance manager, died Saturday, May 22, 2004 in Cocoa Beach. John was born in Pensacola, Florida and came to Brevard County in October, 1962 from his hometown.  He worked for NASA, and loved fishing. John is sur vived by his son, John (Rebecca) Wise, Jr. of Merritt Island, Fla.; daughter, Hannah Wise of Merritt Island, Fla.; brother, William Wise of Pensacola, Fla.; sister, Mary Spooner of Oldsmar, Fla.; three grand children, Jeremy Wise, George Wise, and Shannah Wise all of Merritt Island, Fla.; and special friend, Laura Abrams of California and her daughter, Christine of Merritt Island, Fla. Calling hours are Wednes day, May 26, 2004 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, followed by services at 4 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brevard Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Johns name to the Brevard Zoo. Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa is handling arrangements. |
