LOWERY TITUSVILLE -- Jovita D. Lowery, 72, a food preparation worker, died Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at Vencor Hospital in Green Cove Springs, Fla. Mrs. Lowery was born in The Philippines. She came to Brevard County in 1971 from Rochester, N.Y. She worked at Kennedy Space Center and often prepared sandwiches for the astronauts. Mrs. Lowery was an awesome host and cook. She loved her Filipino garden and was an avid piano player. Mrs. Lowery loved her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Donald Lowery ofTitusville; daughter, Candida Thorpe of Mims; son, Dale E. Hauck of Oxnard, Calif.; granddaughters, Sarah Long and Angela Long, both of Titusville, Lauren Hauck and Megan Hauck, both of Oxnard, Calif.; and grandsons, Jordan Long and Michael Long, both of Titusville, and Seth Hauck of Oxnard, Calif. Calling hours will be from 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at her daughter's home in Mims. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements. |
