MULLIGAN TITUSVILLE -- Kevin J. Mulligan, 49, a former supervisor of Graphic Arts at Lockheed Martin Space Operations Company, and United Space Alliance, died from complications of lung cancer on Thursday, January 25, 2001, at Parrish Medical Center. Kevin was born in Lawrence, Mass., on October 5, 1951. He was a graduate of Old Dominion University. He moved to Titusville in 1984 from Norfolk, Va. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Titusville. Mr. Mulligan was an active supporter of Youth Soccer through the Titusville Soccer Club. He was his children's most ardent supporter in their various sport activities. After his family, his first passion was the beach and oceana ctivities, especially surfing at Playalinda Beach. He was the second of six sons, and is survived by his parents, James A. and Louise M. Mulligan of Virginia Beach, Va.; his wife of 18 years, Mary; their children, Patrick, Kate and Courtney, all of Titusville; his son, Brendan of Norfolk, Va.; his brothers, Jim of Dallas, Texas, Mark of Hurst, Texas, Sean of Kitty Hawk S.C., and Neil of Virginia Beach, Va. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Titusville. Honoring the deceased's request, his ashes will be scattered in the Ocean in a private ceremony. Donations in lieu of flowers are requested to the American Cancer Society. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements. |
