CROSBY INDIALANTIC Lee Edward Crosby, 84, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his children, on Thursday, July 1, 2004. Born in Norfolk Va., in 1920, he had lived in the Melbourne area for 20 years. Before retiring to Brevard County in 1984, he served as a Lieutenant Commander in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters during World War II. Following the war, he was active in the development of our nation's aerospace industry. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Anne Marlowe Crosby. He is survived by his two children, George Lee Crosby and Christine Anne Thompson; and his two grandsons, Derek Ian Thompson and Ryan Christopher Thompson. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Those wishing to honor his memory are asked to consider donations to Hospice of Health First in Melbourne.
