Lester Lee Williams, 65, a retired civil service electrician died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at his home. Lester was born in Glendale, California. He came to Brevard County in 1964 from Sutton, West Virginia. He was a graduate of Sutton High School class of 1959, attended Green Briar Military School, and retired from the U.S. Army in 1953. Lester worked as an electri cian at Kennedy Space Center working with the Apollo Program, worked at the Mayport Naval Station, was a private pilot and he loved boating and sailing. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Merritt Island. He was married to his high school sweetheart for 32 years. Lester is survived by his sons, David W. Williams, and Christopher Lee Williams; daughter, Tracy Lee Singer; mother, Mary Whitefield Williams; brothers, Kenneth J. Williams and Steven Williams; sister, Cheryl Houghton; two grandchildren, Jenna Williams and Anthony Williams. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 11th, at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 12th, at the First Baptist Church of Merritt Island. Burial will fol low at Brevard Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Merritt Island.
