 LINDA FRYEMERRITT ISLAND Miss Linda Frye, 66, of Merritt Island, Fla., passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2004, in Alta monte Hospital, Orlando, Fla., after a very long illness. She was originally from West Virginia and moved to Florida many years ago. She graduated from Man High School in Man, W. Va. Attended Marshall University in Hungtington, W. Va., and finished her degree at Brevard Community College and graduated with honors from Nova University. She is survived by her moth er, Mrs. Ruby Frye of Merritt Island, Fla., with whom she made her home, and the late George Frye; a loving sister, Mrs. Betty Smith and husband Fred of Huntington, W. Va.; nephews, David Smith and fam ily of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and William Smith and family of Orlando, Fla.; her niece, Mrs. Lynne Logan and family; a great-nephew, Christopher Thompson of Columbus, Ohio; and several cousins in West Virginia and many loving life long friends. She retired after 30 years as an Executive Administrator with Pan Am at Patrick Air Force Base and also had previously worked at Cape Kennedy, Cape Canaveral, Fla. She has been a very loving sister, daughter and aunt to her surviving family and we will all truly miss her warm smile and loving personality, she always gave to all of us. She is in Heaven with our dear sister, Judy and loving father, George, and will suffer no longer after suffering so many years with so many ill nesses. Services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday (today) at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North U.S Highway 1 in Cocoa, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Mr. David Smith, Mr. William Smith, Mr. Glenn Miller, Mr. Tony Morrison, Mr. Bill Pasternak and Mr. Larry Tucker. Honorary pall bearer will be Mr. Christopher Thomson. |
