LLOYD KENDRICK, Jr.
TITUSVILLE Lloyd Robert (Bobby) Kendrick, Jr., 60, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2003 at his home. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Bobby was born in Bessie Mining Camp, Alabama, and raised in Cordova. He joined the Navy when he was 17 and served in the SeaBees throughout the Pacific. Bobby worked at the Kennedy Space Center from 1968 through retirement. He was a proud member of I.A.M. Local 690 and 2061, where he held several offices. Bobby loved people and his home was always open to his friends where he liked to engage in conversations, pick his mandolin, and watch Alabama Crimson Tide football. He was preceded in death by his son, Harlan; his mother, Vera; father, Lloyd; and father- in-law, John Bintemire. Bobby is survived by wife, Joyce; sisters, Francis Tootie (Troy) Windsor, Becky (Ricky) Vance, Cindy (Ricky) Russell; brothers, Jim (Katherine), Joe (Lorena), Jeff (Genia); special aunt and uncle, Jo Ellen and Roger Kendrick; mother-in-law, Juanita Bintemire; brother-in- law, John (Tracey); sister-in-law, Jana Bintemire; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and a great host of friends. Arrangements will be handled by North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville, with memorial services Sunday, October 12th at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post on U.S. 1.
