SOLOMON COCOA -- Louis K. Solomon, 79, a communication specialist, died Friday, December 8, 2000, at home. Mr. Solomon was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He came to Brevard County in 1967 from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.  He was a retired Air Force veteran. Mr. Solomon worked
at Kennedy Space Center as an electronics technician. Survivors include his
wifeof 55 years, Elizabeth (Libby) Solomon of Cocoa; sons, Daniel M.
Solomon of Rockledge, Miki L. Solomon of Allen, Texas, and Garry F.Solomon
of Troy, Ala.; daughters, Cindy A. P. Gorman of Cocoa, Janice N. Lee
of Rockledge, Tina M. Barretta of Merritt Island; and sister Margaret Kaluna
of Honolulu; and 10 grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
Monday, at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home.Services will be at 11
a.m.Tuesday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge. Burial will be at
Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice. Florida Memorial Funeral Home, north of
Melbourne, is in charge of arrangements.
