Jr. TITUSVILLE -- Louis "Poppy" Vittor Jr., 81, a retired engineer,
died Monday, April 10, at Titusville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Vittor was born in Scranton, Pa. He came to Brevard County 43 years ago from Baltimore. He was an Army veteran of World War II. A 42-year employee of Martin Marrietta, he founded the monthly Martin Retirement Luncheon. Mr. Vittor was a member of American Legion Post 0400. Survivors include his daughter, Marlo Matrazzo of Titusville; brother, Arthur Vittor of Factorville, Pa.; and two grandsons. No calling hours are scheduled. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville.
