 MARIE EDWARDSCOCOA BEACH Marie Basso Edwards, 80, formerly of Reading, Penn., passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2004 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. She is survived by her stepson, Jackson Lane Edwards, III and wife, Kay; step-grandchildren, Jackson Lane Edwards, IV and Hannah Louise Edwards; neices, Dr. Timothy Shaw and Virginia Dyer; and close friend Frank Ostaszewski, and Joy Dolci. Marie loved traveling and playing Bridge with her friends. She was a highly regarded Executive Secretary to the Commander of Patrick Air Force Base and retired in 1989 after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Davids by the Sea Epsicopal Church. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2004 at St. Davids by the Sea Episcopal Church, Cocoa Beach, followed with a burial at St. Davids Memorial Gardens.
