MARY WILSONMELBOURNE Mary Alice Wilson, 61, passed away Tuesday morn ing, February 24, 2004, at Wuesthoff Hospital in Melbourne Fla. Mrs. Wilson was born in Abbeyville, Ala., on August 18, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Deacon Tommy G. Johnson Sr. and Milburn White. She came to Cocoa in 1953. Mary has been happily married to retired Air Force M/SGT Herman Wilson for 25 years. She worked in the aero space industry at Kennedy Space Center for over 25 years. She is survived by her loving husband Herman Wilson; two devoted daughters, Bridget D. Taylor and Cheryl (Matt) Carter; four grandchildren, Shawnta D. Price, George C. Taylor III, Morgan A. Carter and Matthew A. Carter; one sister, Callie V. (Marvin) Whitfield; two brothers, Tommy G. Johnson Jr., and Willie Jerry Johnson; two nieces, Geneva D. Whitfield and Terri Johnson; two nephews, Jerry and Jeremy Johnson; one great-niece, Veneshia L. Whitfield; best friend, Barbara Jean McNeil; and a host of other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 1st, at Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. A homegoing celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2nd, at the church. Mary will always be loved, remembered, and cherished by all who knew her.
