BENDER COCOA BEACH -- Neal L. Bender, 71, died Tuesday, October 31, 2000,at home. Mr. Bender was born in Evansville, Ind. He was a Contracts Manager for the Boeing Co. for 35 years. Mr. Bender was a past Director of the Florida-Georgia District, Lutheran Church, and an active member and officer of Christ Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Pat of Cocoa Beach; son, Paul of Cape Canaveral; daughter, Lisa Adoian of Oviedo; brother, Nelson Bender of Des Moines, Wash.; step-daughters, Eileen Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., Maureen Pollo of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Calling will be from 12:30to 1 p.m. Friday, at Christ Lutheran Church in Cape Canaveral. Services will follow immediately. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Florida Memorial is in charge of arrangements. |
