Reginald Reggie Dean Beck, 46, died Friday, March 26, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2004 at Shurlington United Methodist Church in Macon, Georgia. Reverend John Webb will officiate. Burial will be next to his father in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate, in Macon, Georgia. Reggie was born in Bibb County, Georgia. He graduated from River North Academy in 1975. He was employed by Boeing International, as a Space Shut tle Main Engine Technician for eight years at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, previously serv ing our United States Air Force for thirteen years. Reggie was an active member in Sunday school and Church at West Side Baptist Church in Titusville, Florida. Reverend John Webb was Reggies pastor from his previous church, First United Methodist Church in Pace, Florida, where he was active with the youth and the mens groups. He was the son of the late Billy Dean Beck of Macon, Georgia. Reggie is survived by his wife, Patti Thornton Beck of Titusville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Paige and MK2 Brad Hitchcock of New Smyrna, Florida; son, SR2 Matthew Beck of New Smyrna, Florida; grand daughter, Abby Danielle Beck of New Smyrna, Florida; mother, Virginia Durden Beck of Macon, Georgia; sister, Deena Hammond of Jones County, Georgia; brother, Ricky Beck of Jones County, Georgia; nieces Tiffany and Staci Hammond, Ashley Beck and Desiree Grimm; nephews, Tyler Beck, and Adam and Justin Grimm; great-niece Madison Hammond; sisters-in-law, Jeanie Grimm and Jan Beck; brothers-in-law, Nick Grimm and Michael Hammond; numerous aunts, uncles, and many friends throughout the United States. The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m., today, Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Snows Memorial Chapel, 746 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of St. Francis, P.O. Box 5563, Titusville, FL 32782.
