BOSWORTH SEBASTIAN -- Richard Codding "Dick" Bosworth, 77, a
mechanical engineer, died Friday, Feb. 18, at home.
Mr. Bosworth was born in Spokane, Wash. He moved to Sebastian a year ago from Palm Coast. He was associated with Bendix, RCA, Boeing, Grumman and GE, and worked with the Saturn 5 Apollo Space Program. He was a member of the team that designed the ventilating system for the Lunar Module. Mr. Bosworth was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Palm Coast. He was also a member of the Morocco Shrine and the Masonic Lodge in Bunnell, where he was a Master Mason, a York Rite Mason and 32 Degree Mason. He was active with the Little League in Seattle. Survivors include his son, Scott Bosworth of Sebastian; one granddaughter; and two stepgranddaughters. A Masonic service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian. |
