EVANS COCOA BEACH -- Robert C. Evans, 79, died Thursday, December 7, 2000, at his home. Born in Lafayette, Indiana, he came to Brevard County in 1956.  A
retired AerospaceEngineer, he was in the United States Navy as an Aviation
Pilot in World War II and Korea. Mr. Evans was a member of the VFW and the
American Legion in Cocoa Beach. Survivors include his wife, Bette Evans;
children, Toni Lynn Evans, Robert Evans Jr., Chan Evans, Lori
EvansVelarde, Mike Evans, Leslie Evans, and Kellie Renee Evans Metcalf;
sister, Jane Weiss; and grandchildren, Tina, Dustin, Jessika, Timothy,
Timmy, Jeff, Zachary, Travis, Shelby, and Talor. No services are
scheduled. Donations may be made to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, P.O. Box
560965, Rockledge, Florida 32956. Arrangements entrusted to East Coast
