RUDOLPH HENTSCHEL SATELLITE BEACH -- Rudolph H. Hentschel, 69, a retired Air Force major, died Saturday, June 10, in Hammond, La.

Mr. Hentschel was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He came to Brevard County in 1970.

He was a 20 year Air Force veteran.

Mr. Hentschel worked for Pan Am and Johnson Controls at Patrick Air Force Base for 22 years prior to retirement.

He enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hentschel of Satellite Beach; daughter, Anna Berry of Merritt Island; sons, Michael Hentschel of Chicago, Steven Hentschel of Littleton, Colo., and Arthur Hentschel of West Palm Beach; stepsons, Tom Sellers of Charleston, S.C., and Jim Sellers of Jefferson City, Mo.; stepmother, Raghild Hentschel of Palm Bay; and 10 grandchildren.

No calling hours are scheduled. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at South Patrick Chapel at PAFB. Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2800 Aurora Road, Suite I, Melbourne, FL 32935.
