NERO PORT ST. JOHN -- Anthony T. Nero, 35, died Wednesday, November 15, 2000, at his residence. Mr. Nero was a work coordinator for Space Gateway Support at Kennedy Space Center. He was past President of the Merritt Island Jaycees and was also a Senator and member of the Port St. John Jaycees. Mr. Nero also served on the Board of the Port St. John Little League. He is survived by his wifeof 13 years, Donna; children, Anthony, Alex and Amber, all of Port St. John; brothers, Nicholas Nero of Orlando and Daniel Nero of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Sueann Cotanche of Orlando; parents, Thomas and Susan Nero of Orlando; and maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Wagner of Orlando. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 17th, at the First United Methodist Church in Port St. John with services to follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Special Olympics-Florida, 8 Broadway, Suite D, Kissimmee, FL 32741-5702.
