WORTHINGTON INDIALANTIC -- Verda Jane Worthington, 85, a Retired Purchasing Clerk with Rockwell, died November10, 2000, in Indialantic. She was born in Centerburg, Ohio. She came to Brevard County in 1966, from Newark, Ohio. Mrs. Worthington was a member at EastministerPresbyterian Church in Indialantic. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Student of the Bible. Survivors in her daughters, Myrna Bailey of Hillsdale, Mo., Priscilla Price of Newark, Ohio, and Julia McCulloug of Newark, Ohio; sons, John Mercer of Lodi, Calif, andMichael Mercer of Palm Bay, Fla; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brothers, William Selby, and Rheil John Selby; sisters, Frances Triplett, ViolaMoreland, Pearl Larimore, and Iva Edmond. Calling hours are Monday, From 5 until 7 p.m., at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home. Services are Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m., at Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel. |
