 VINCENT DIXON, Sr.CAPE CANAVERAL Vincent William Dixon, Sr., 90, a Pittsburgh Police Officer Inspector for 28 years, died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at Health Center of Merritt Island. Vince was born in Pittsburgh, Penn. and came to Brevard County in 1971 from his birthplace. Vince was later employed by Boeing-KSC in security operations. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of Our Saviour Catholic Church. Vince enjoyed golfing with friends. Vince is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rita; three brothers, John, Dan and Thomas Dixon; three sisters, Genevie Kenny, Mildred Hauck, and Mary M. Kay; three grand children; and two great-grand children. Calling hours are today, Monday, April 12, 2004 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Services are Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Our Saviour Catholic Church. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Our Saviour Catholic School.
