McCORD MELBOURNE -- Virginia McCord, 80, a retired electronics
technician for Boeing, died Wednesday, July 26, at Holmes Regional Medical
Center.
Mrs. McCord was born in Brookley Springs, W.Va. She came to Brevard County in 1965 from Slidell, La. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Melbourne. Mrs. McCord enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Castner of Melbourne; stepson, Edgar McCord Jr. of Greenfield, Ind.; stepdaughter, Sharon Williams of Columbia, Pa.; two grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, north of Melbourne. Services will be at noon Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. |
