COCOA - Willard J. Rodda, 57, a retired tool and dye maker, died Monday,
Aug. 7, at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge.
Mr. Rodda came to Brevard County in 1984 from Benton Harbor, Mich., where he was born. He was employed by the Boeing Corp. He worked on the Delta II program. Mr. Rodda was a member of the Machinist Union, the Space Trackers square dancers, a member of the Museum Guild, and the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science. Survivors include his wife, Constance Rodda of Cocoa; mother, Marjorie Rodda of Cocoa; sons, Bruce Rodda of Niles, Mich., Brian Rodda of Benton Harbor, Russel Schwarz of Merritt Island, Kevin Schwarz and William Schwarz, both of Wilmington, N.C.; daughters, Barbara Darr of Grainger, Mich., Brenda Thompson of Buchanan, Mich., and Cindy Faiscroft of Port St. John; brother, Ken Rodda of Winter Park; and five grandsons. Calling hour will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, North of Melbourne. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. The family requests no flowers.
