NOBLES MIMS -- William Franklin "Frank''Nobles, 73, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Mr. Nobles was born in Orlando, Fla., and was a lifelong resident of Brevard County. For many years he worked for his family, Nobles Citrus. Later, he worked as a fireman for Brevard County and the City of Titusville for 25 years, and as a fireman for Pan Am at Kennedy Space Center for 10 years. He also worked as an armed and unarmed security guard for several different companies.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran, having served with the Seabees, a 32nd degree
Mason, Gateway Masonic Lodge #384 F&AM, a member of Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post #4228 in Titusville, member of the Scottish Rite and
York Rite, the Regional Antique Auto Club in Titusville, and the Titusville
Coin Club. Mr. Nobles was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in
Titusville. He is survived by his wife of 17-1/2 years, Glenda Nobles of
Mims; nephews, Stuart and Michael Bumpus; and a large extended family and
numerous friends. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, at North
Brevard Funeral Home.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the
funeral home. Burial will be atLaGrange Cemetery inTitusville. North
Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements.
