RUBY PORT ST. JOHN -- William Jacob Ruby, 64, a retired Aerospace Engineer, passed away Thursday,December 7, 2000, following a prolonged illness. Born April 6, 1936 in Fresno, Calif., he was a Roosevelt High Schoolgraduate and a Stanford University Alumnus. Surviving is his wife, Gay; three daughters, Maria Boulanger and Rebecca Pickles, both of Vero Beach and Emma Hernburg of Lakeland; three stepsons, Ronald Johnson of Las Vegas, Nev., Eric Johnson and Russell Johnson, both of Huntsville, Ala.; one stepdaughter, Johnna Johnson of Niceville, Fla.; four granddaughters and three grandsons; three sisters, Benita Golden and Elizabeth Jorgenson, both of Fresno, Calif., and Susan Gilbert of Los Angeles, Calif. He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin and daughter,Benita. A service will take place Saturday, December 9th, at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 3900 Fay Blvd., in Port St. John, followed by a fellowship gathering at the church. Friends and family are warmly welcomed. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Frontenac. Bill is gone beyond our sight and as he travels to a new and glorious life he will never be forgotten in our hearts here on earth. May the Lord be with him always. |
