COLE MELBOURNE -- William E. Cole, 70, died Thursday, January 18, 2001, at home. Mr. Cole was born in Ontario, Canada. After serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he moved to Brevard County in 1957 to work at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station during the creation of the Space Program. He retired in 1995. He is survived by his wifeof 45 years, Emily; two sons, William S. Cole and Gary J. Cole; daughter, Debby Carter; four grandsons; and three granddaughters. A memorial gathering will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 23rd, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home.Services will follow at 7 p.m.at the funeral home.
