 ANDY CHARVETTITUSVILLE Andre John Charvet, 72, passed away on Good Friday, March 25, 2005 at home after a year-long battle with cancer. Andy was born and raised in New Jersey. After relocating to Florida in 1950, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He and his family moved to Titusville in 1958. Andy, an electrician, retired from Kennedy Space Center in 1997. Andy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan Bachelder Charvet; three sons, eleven grandchildren and one great- granchild. An only child, Andy was blessed with a close family and many friends. He will be sorely missed by his sons and their wives, Ben and Carol, Michael and Deborah, and Joel and Daphne, as well as his grandchildren Courtney, Beau, Ryan, Amber, Sean, Tim Justice, Matthew Justice, Faith, Cristina Justice, Corinne, Autumn, and great-grandson, Connor Justice. He was a member of Indian River City United Methodist Church. Andy enjoyed his retire ment years, tinkering with cars and flying model airplanes with his sons. Andy and Jo could be seen in their red Bugatti nearly every evening watching the sun set over the river at Parrish Park. Visitation will be held at North Brevard Funeral Home on Thursday, March 31, 2005 from 6 - 8 p.m. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, April 1st at 2 p.m. at Indian River City United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that donations be made to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250-B Grumman Pl., Titusville, FL 32780.
