BLANKENSHIP TITUSVILLE Harvey T. Blankenship, 84, passed away Monday, February 9, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Blankenship was born in Eclectic, Ala. He came to Brevard County in 1991 from Atlanta, Ga.  He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II and the Korean War. He also retired from Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Blankenship was a member of American Legion Post #1, and the VFW, both in Titusville. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Nardone of Titusville; grandsons, DArcy and Joshua Nardone, both of Titusville; great-grandson, Joseph Nardone of Titusville; sisters, Mary Gilliland of Decatur, Ala., and Lucinda Edwards of Montgomery, Ala.; and three half-brothers. Mr. Blankenship was pre ceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb ruary 13th, at North Brevard Funeral Home with services following at 6 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Eclectic, Ala. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements. |
